Care is available for a minimum 4 hours to a maximum of 10 hours per day. Please call ahead for drop-in day care to ensure there is space available.

Policies:

• Wee Care accepts children ages 3 months and up.
• Before and after care must be scheduled in advance. We cannot accept drop-offs after lunch and we prefer that you do not pick up your child before 3pm. You must call to let us know if your child will be late or absent.
• Wee Care does not use swimming pools only sprinklers and water tables.
• No toy guns, toys that shoot objects or toys that promote violence will be tolerated.
• It is our policy to help children learn appropriate behavior by establishing clear limits, explaining those limits in a positive way when it is necessary for the child to understand why the limit is there, and by using a break-time method to calm a child when necessary. We believe one minute per the child's age is a sufficient break period.
• In the event of serious accident or illness, the parent will be contacted immediately.
• We are under strict guidelines with regards to disease control; hence there may be a time when we are either forced to send an ill child home or not accept an ill child into care. If your child becomes ill at the facility, we will do everything possible to comfort the child until parents or emergency contact person arrives to take the child home. The child will be isolated from the other children. Parents will be notified of contagious diseases affecting the children at the facility.
• We do not provide transportation from school to our facility. We do have occasional scheduled field trips by school bus. A documented, signed permission slip is required.
• Unless otherwise instructed in writing, Wee Care only releases a child to the following persons: (1) the child's parent, (2) the child's custodial parent (when applicable), (3) the emergency contact person and (4) any other guardian to whom the parent, by way of written authorization, allows us to release the child. We reserve the right to keep a child if we are not completely certain about any person who has come to pick up the child. The parents will be contacted immediately if this happens.
• All children must enter the program under a two-week trial basis to ensure proper adjustment for the child. No contract may be cancelled without 30 day advance written notice and prepayment in full of one month. The contract can be terminated at provider's discretion with two-weeks notice.
• As childcare providers we are required by law to report any suspected cases of abuse or neglect.
